Colton Robinson

My name is Colton, I am a student at COCC studying business and finance and I am a Small Business and Entrepreneurship major. I work in weed control and plan to start my own business one day in the future. After college I also want to go to trade school to become an Electrician and make that my career to fund my business and just have something to do. I am taking this website delevopment class for three main reasons. These reasons being that I want to learn to code, it is a requirement for my gradtracks, and making a website is a useful skill to have.

I have never been a big technology guy necessarily. I grew up in a small town with a population of less than 200. I grew up farming in the summers and mowing lawns or working in our local bar during the school year. My family are not people who would typically be very knowledgable on electronic or coding related stuff so I figured I would take a class on it to make up for the weakness. Out of this class I want to not just learn the bare minimum but dedicate myself to learn above and beyond the criteria so I am confident in my capabilities if one day I am presented with a situation where knowing how to code and make a website would be useful!
